2008-09
President’s Report
AGM Tuesday 23rd June 18, 2009
A thought became reality on 7th November 2004.
There was 8 guys & 1 lady (Jamie C, Rob W, Greg H, Jason S, Stephen B, Ross S, Greg G, Geoff L, Bronwyn W) looking forward to skiing on our new slalom course in Sydney.
That was the day we finally placed ‘Cooksie’ (name given by Greg H) as it is known today on the map.
As we look at the results for 2009 I reflect with a satisfying smile of how the SWSC has made a competitive mark upon the tournament water skiing scene.
I have attached a ProAm Report, quite simply I say a Tremendously BIG THANKYOU to our sponsors & to the club members who helped with the running of such a successful weekend.
The success our club members at 2009 State & National titles have been outstanding, along with numerous juniors being selected for State, Moomba & International tournaments:

As way of a reminder to the club members:
SWSC members are able to use there own registered boats at ‘Cooksie’.
The ‘Club boat’ as we call it; is in ‘care & custody’ to the SWSC from the NSWWSF.
The boat may at any time be taken away from us for a day, week or for ever.
With our Jump going in the water & ready for use in spring we surely should have a bigger 2009-10 season.
Our building assets include: Jump, BBQ, Hot Water Urn, Course Magnets, Jump Switch, SWSC Banner, Second set of Buoys.
I have forward you the information for the SWSC members to vote on the club becoming an Incorporated Association.
I feel as the out going Club President that this is the correct way for our club to go forward; I entrust the new committee to look at this proposal & cast the members to a vote.
Again my thanks go to the committee members for your support & efforts through 2008-09.
